San Antonio swept L.A. 4-0 during the regular season as MVP Tim
Duncan averaged 21.3 points and 16.3 rebounds. But postseason is
the Lakers' prime time: They've mauled the Spurs in the past two
playoffs, winning eight of nine games.

FRIDAY 5/9 > HBO 11:30 PM > On the Record with Bob Costas
Has Costas gone James Lipton on us? His guests include
filmmaker-provocateur Michael Moore and actors Michael Douglas
and Denis Leary.


Heavyweight Title Bout: Rocky Marciano vs. Jersey Joe Walcott
Ring magazine's 1952 Fight of the Year. Before it Walcott said,
"If I can't beat this bum, take my name off the record books."
Great drama, even if you know the outcome.

Lausitz, one of Europe's trickiest ovals, hosts the world's top
open-wheel racers. Canada's Paul Tracy, a pal of Yankees slugger
Jason Giambi, is the points leader.

SUNDAY 5/11 > TNT 10:30 PM > Mavericks at Kings, Game 4
Here's the good news for the Mavs: Over the past two years
they've won three games at Arco Arena. Here's the bad news for
the Mavs: Those are the only times they've won in 13 games with
the Kings.

THURSDAY 5/15 > TRAVEL CHANNEL 10 PM > Sports Fan's Road Tripz
Oriole Cal Ripken (Camden Yards), Cowboys Tony Dorsett and Roger
Staubach (Texas Stadium) and Knick Walt Frazier (Madison Square
Garden) take viewers on behind-the-scenes tours of the arenas in
which they starred.
