Painful Starts

Preseason camp has not gone smoothly for several of the teams in SI's top 20, as these key injuries have coaches scrambling to adjust their lineups.

Cornelius Ingram, TE, Florida; torn ACL; out for season. With 34 catches last season, Ingram (above) was one of Tim Tebow's favorite targets. Aaron Hernandez, who caught nine passes as a freshman in 2007, takes over.

Rashaad Jackson, DT, Clemson; torn quadriceps tendon; out until midseason. Jackson, the Tigers' active career leader in tackles for loss (16 1/2), will be replaced by junior Jamie Cumbie, who has five career tackles for loss.

Trinton Sturdivant, LT, Georgia; torn ACL; out for season. Sophomore Kiante Tripp moves over from the right side to replace Sturdivant, who started all 13 games as a true freshman.
