CREASE LIGHTNING Parker Milner reacted quickly and successfully to this first-period shot in last Saturday's Boston College--Ferris State Frozen Four final. The Eagles' netminder turned aside 27 of 28 shots in the in top-ranked BC's 4--1 win, after which he was named the Frozen Four's Most Outstanding Player.

BATTLE CRY Czech boxer Lukas Konecny brought his French challenger, Salim Larbi, first to his knees, then to tears with a seventh-round knockout in their interim WBO junior middleweight title fight last Thursday in the Czech Republic city of Brno. Konecny will now face Zaurbek Baysangurov in a mandatory title defense after Baysangurov recovers from a back injury.

HONORABLE DISH CHARGE The Angels' Peter Bourjos scored just ahead of Brayan Peña's tag on a bang-bang play at the plate in the eighth inning of last Friday's season opener against the Royals. Bourjos was the third runner to score on Erick Aybar's bases-clearing triple in Los Angeles's 5--0 victory.
