Market Watch
GORAN DRAGIC PGRockets
After serving as an understudy to Steve Nash in Phoenix and Kyle Lowry in Houston, he appears ready for a lead role. Dragic has thrived in place of the injured Lowry this season, averaging 18.0 points and 8.4 assists in 28 starts.
WHO WANTS HIM
The Blazers, who got inconsistent play from Raymond Felton (11.4 ppg, 40.7 FG%).
JASON TERRY SGMavericks
The 34-year-old has been vocal about wanting to end his career in Dallas. But Mavericks owner Mark Cuban began overhauling the roster last summer and is looking to make a big splash in free agency, which could make Terry unaffordable.
WHO WANTS HIM
Terry's instant offense would be a boost to the anemic second units of the Lakers or the Magic.
CHRIS KAMAN CHornets
Dwight Howard's decision to stay another season in Orlando makes Kaman the most desirable unrestricted big man on the market this summer. A solid post defender, Kaman "could start for a title contender," says one scout. "He does pretty much everything well."
WHO WANTS HIM
The Hornets want to keep him; the Spurs, Heat and Bucks will inquire.
O.J. MAYO GGrizzlies
A restricted free agent, he lost his starting job last season, and Memphis has shopped him before the last two trade deadlines. Mayo is a durable combo guard who can score (career 15.2 points per game), and he would benefit from a change in scenery.
WHO WANTS HIM
The Pacers or the Bulls are the most likely landing spots.
RAY ALLEN SGCeltics
Allen's troublesome ankle caused his three-point shot to go south in the postseason (26.9%), and his relationship with Rajon Rondo has created tension in the locker room. Before the trade deadline Boston nearly moved Allen; the emergence of Avery Bradley makes him expendable.
WHO WANTS HIM
Sources say the Heat and the Knicks are at the top of Allen's list.
ERSAN ILYASOVA PFBucks
At 24, he has blossomed in his fourth season, averaging career highs in points (13.0) and rebounds (8.8) while knocking down 45.5% of his threes. "He's the prototypical modern power forward," says one scout of the 6'9" 235-pounder.
WHO WANTS HIM
To keep Ilyasova away from the Nets and the Celtics, Milwaukee will have to use a sizable chunk of its cap room ($12 million).
ROY HIBBERT CPacers
Recent deals for Brendan Haywood (six years, $55 million) and Tyson Chandler (four years, $58 million) have set the market for centers—which will benefit the vastly improved Hibbert, a restricted free agent.
WHO WANTS HIM
Dallas and Cleveland have the need and the cap space, and Houston has been pursuing a center for years—but Indiana will think long about matching any offer.
STEVE NASH PGSuns
He says Phoenix needs to upgrade this summer or he's gone. He'll attract attention despite concerns about his age (38) and his back. "I would be worried about taking him out of that system," says one G.M. "His body has been conditioned to play one way his whole career. If he suddenly plays another, it might not hold up."
WHO WANTS HIM
If he doesn't stay in Phoenix, Nash could wind up with the Blazers, Hawks or Heat.
