Kendall Hunter: Long Reliever
The 49ers have the fourth highest run-to-pass ratio in the NFL, which is great for Frank Gore and not too bad for his backup, Hunter, who's among the leaders in rushing yards for nonstarters (258). During the second half, as San Francisco tries to keep Gore fresh, Hunter will see enough touches to make him a viable flex option. Brandon Jacobs will get some carries too, but if something goes awry for Gore, Hunter would assume the lead role—and gain instant must-start status.
