After reading Neil Leifer's interesting insights into the world of sports photography (Tricks of the Trade), I had just one question: Were the Razorbacks penalized for having 12 men in the huddle—13 if you count Leifer himself?

Lance Laskosky, Conroe, Texas

Editor's note: The huddle was staged before the game actually began.

Seeing the picture of Trail Blazers forward Ed Davis wrapping his arms around Warriors guard Klay Thompson (LEADING OFF), I think it's clear that should have been a flagrant foul. That is not a basketball play, but I suppose pretty much anything goes in the NBA these days.

With the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, the Maple Leafs are likely to select Arizona-born center Auston Matthews (SCORECARD). While I am not arguing that he would be a bad choice, I wonder if Toronto—led for years by non-Canadians and always falling short—might need some Canadian pride more than sheer talent.

Jamesohn Bader, Holland, Mich.

I loved Joe Sheehan's article on patterns emerging early in this baseball season, so much so that I thought it was a page too short. I hoped he would propose changes that would make baseball more vibrant.

COVER

This year's NFL draft may very well have given us the most memorable first round ever, as Austin Murphy suggests, and Paxton Lynch's formidable expectations make for an enticing story (Art of the Deals). But with all the draft's intriguing plotlines, I'm not sure that the 26th pick is the most deserving of a cover.

SCORECARD

A Green Bay fan wants to take his wife's name and become Mr. Packer, and you believe the world is coming to an end? Even as a joke, the assumption that there is something inherently wrong with this reflects poorly on SI.
