ANNIVERSARY
Forty-two years ago this week an extraordinary one-man football team, Charley Brickley, booted five field goals to score every one of Harvard's points over Yale. Cool and smiling, Brickley, one of the greatest field goal specialists in gridiron history, kicked his way to a 15-5 Crimson victory before more than 44,000 spectators, an enormous crowd for those days. It was the first Harvard win over Yale at Cambridge, and the first time since 1875 they had beaten Yale two years in succession.
