Dawn Brown, 18, comptometer operator of Trenton, N.J., wheeled to senior ladies' singles title for fourth straight year in U.S. Amateur Roller Skating at Detroit, teamed with Eunice Prokop, also of Trenton, to win the senior ladies' pairs.

Bob Seever of Miami hung onto a runaway steering cable half the distance and fought rain squalls the other half, but won third straight Gold Coast powerboat marathon race at Miami, churned through the 124 miles in record 77.58 mph.

Mimi Kanarek of Brooklyn, N.Y., unseeded in women's eastern clay court tennis championship at Purchase, N.Y., won the title by defeating Sally Wilson of Scarsdale, N.Y. 6-3, 6-4, later teamed with Isabel Troccole of Bronx, N.Y. to win doubles.

Dick Sikes, University of Arkansas golf captain, gave his putting credit for victory in Amateur Public Links golf at the municipal Rackham course in Detroit, defeated John Molenda, a junior at Detroit Tech, 4 and 3, in the 36-hole final round.

Mary Revell, 23, Huntington Park, Calif. dental technician, fought water temperatures as low as 37°, became first person to swim 7½ miles between Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City, Mich., completed the crossing in 7:28:57.

Tom Curtis, 14, of Hingham, Mass., competed against 25 youngsters in National Turnabout Association's junior sailing meet at Falmouth, Me., won the title with 71½ points, 2½ points more than second-place John Lally of Winthrop, Mass.
