Charley Wedemeyer, 18, quarterback at Honolulu's Punahou High and the younger brother of "Squirmin' Herman," 1945 All-America back at St. Mary's in California, scored twice in a playoff game to lead his team to victory over Kamehameha High.

Anne (Coco) Gram, 15, a student at The Professional Children's School in New York City, who has been figure skating since she was 8 and who practices at least four hours a day, glided gracefully to the North Atlantic Junior Ladies' title in West Orange, N.J.

Edwin Maley, 33, physical fitness instructor with the Tampa Recreation Department and a judo competitor since he was 19, won the 180-pound title in the Florida State Tournament in Tampa, went on to take the overall championship for the sixth straight year.

Charles (Mike) Jacobson of Copper Cliff, Ont., sophomore right wing on Michigan State's hockey team, slapped home three goals in 60 seconds—one of the fastest hat tricks in collegiate history—as the Spartans overpowered Wisconsin 9-2.
