Steve Cohen, sophomore on the Penn State gymnastics team, won the ECAC all-round title at Temple University with the best score in five Olympic events. He took a first in floor exercise, a second in the parallel bars and tied for second in the still rings.

David Rikert, Williams College sophomore, won the Class A combined title at the Pineland Ski and Outing Club's Nordic meet in Andover, Me., placing first in Class A cross-country and first in Class B jumping. It was his eighth combined title this season.

Beverly Williams, 26, a Corsicana, Texas housewife who took up bowling four years ago as a recreational outlet, rolled a 671 series in early play at the Texas State Women's Bowling Tournament in Dallas, the highest singles score ever recorded in that event.

Andrew Kunayak, an Eskimo from Little Diomede, an island off the western coast of Alaska, 2½ miles from the U.S.S.R., raced through drifted snow in—15° weather to win the half-mile foot race in the first Winter Games at the State Vocational School in Nome.

Rick Cipullo, 5-foot-9 guard for Bethany College (W. Va.) became the first basketball player in the history of the President's Athletic Conference to be chosen unanimously for the All-PAC team three straight years. He has led the league in scoring for two seasons.

Al Holm, Michigan Tech hockey team captain who more than doubled his point production this season (41), led his team to victory in a two-game series over Minnesota in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association semifinals with hat tricks in both games.
