FACES IN THE CROWD

Peter Carterfinished five seasons as starting goalie for the Milton (Mass.) Academy hockeyteam with a total of 1,541 saves in 74 games. Besides captaining the trackteam, Carter, an honor student, qualified for the Eastern Junior SkiChampionships.

Pam Nelson, 13, ofSeattle took seven firsts and three seconds at the Spring Horse Show inWoodinville, Wash. In each of her four years of competition (1961-1964) sheheld the state title for her age group in hunt seat equitation, and in 1964,the junior hunter title.
