FACES IN THE CROWD

Ken Prigg won seven titles and broke two records in the 11-to-12-year-old division of the Delaware AAU Swimming Championships in Wilmington. The seventh-grader, who works out three times daily, won events in all four strokes and at distances up to 800 yards.

Rudy Hernando, specialist 4th class stationed at Fort Sill, Okla., won, for the second year, the World-Wide Interservice Open Singles Tennis Championship at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, over Pfc. John (Bitsy) Harrison of West Point 3-6, 4-6, 6-2, 6-0, 6-3.

Richmond Flowers Jr. of Montgomery, Ala. won the 100-yard dash in 9.8, the 120-yard high hurdles in 13.8 and the 180-yard low hurdles in 18.6, at the track and field championships of the 1965 National Jaycee Sports Spectacular held at Rice University in Houston.

Greg Miracle, 12, a Willoughby, Ohio Little League pitcher, threw three consecutive no-hitters, totaling 40 strikeouts and five walks in 18 innings. In addition he pitched three one-hitters plus two two-hitters and gave up only one unearned run this season.

Ralph Sperry Jr. of Southport, Conn. skippered his Lightning, Enery, the entry of the Black Rock Yacht Club, to the Long Island Sound Junior title and the Area B Junior Championship, a semifinal competition for the North American junior sailing title.

Andy Thompson, a senior at Marple-New-town High, won the Pennsylvania Jaycee Junior Golf Tourney in Latrobe, after leading all the way. Then three days later, after barely surviving a five-way tie to qualify, he took the State Junior Championship in Hershey.
