At the American Junior Bowling Conference League Junior Division I state tournament, Ronnie, 12, finished first in bantam singles, second in the boys all-events handicap, fourth in all-events scratch and second in bantam doubles.

Sparking his V.F.W. Little League team to an 18-0 season, Brad, 12, batted .840, had 17 home runs (two of them grand slams) and drove in 58 runs. Usually a catcher, Brad pitched four games, won them all, and made the All-Star team.

HOMEWORTH, OHIO
Parks, a 32-year-old machinist, shot a world-record perfect 550 points to win the all-around title at the National Skeet Shooting Association World Championships in San Antonio. He also won a sudden-death shoot-off to become the .410 titlist.

NETTA YOUNG
NORRISTOWN, PA.
Placing first in the 100 (10.8), 220 (24.5) and 440 (57.2), Netta, 16, scored enough points by herself at the Pennsylvania Inter-scholastic Athletic Association track and field championships to win the state team title for Norristown Area High.

IRVINE, CALIF.
Playing for the unbeaten (16-0) Irvine Youth Athletic Association champion Padres, Mike, a 7-year-old switch hitter, was named team MVP. He batted .760 left-handed and .821 right-handed, getting 42 hits, including 10 homers.

BILL DIDDEL
CARMEL, IND.
The 92-year-old Diddel, a retired golf course designer, scored his sixth hole in one by acing the 186-yard 4th hole at the Woodland Country Club course. He beat his age with an 88 on the par-72 layout, which he designed.
