Ferrari, 18, won U.S. harness racing's first National Junior (age 15-19) Driving Championship at Sportsman's Park in Chicago. Ferrari guided Snow Patch to a 2:02[3/5] victory, almost five seconds faster than the horse's previous best.

Competing in the New England Master's Swim Club meet, Mrs. Hogan, 76, set national age-group marks in the 50-yard breaststroke (1:03.7), the 100-yard freestyle (2:14.9), the 100-yard backstroke (2:55.5) and won the 50-yard free.
SHAUN O'CONNELL
HAMILTON, BERMUDA
Acting on a bet, O'Connell, a 33-year-old mathematics professor, trained for six months and then swam the 38 miles around Bermuda in 43 hours. In so doing he raised $10,000 in pledges for the Bermuda Physically Handicapped Association.
TONEY MULHOLLAN
BRIDGE CITY, TEXAS
A 5'5", 140-pound tailback at Bridge City High, Mulhollan, 17, ran for 159 yards on 26 carries in a 23-17 win over Strake Jesuit of Houston. Toney also returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown, forced a safety and recovered a fumble.
ROBERT STEWARD
MANNFORD, OKLA.
Steward, 14, hit .635 with 12 home runs and had a 13-2 pitching record in the Prep League. Four of his wins were no-hitters, and one was a perfect game in which he struck out 18. He also is a fullback on the Mannford Junior High football team.
DOM ANTONINI
BELLMAWR, N.J.
A senior at Glassboro (N.J.) State College, Antonini kicked a 62-yard field goal in the Profs' 31-19 win over Salisbury State. He has kicked field goals of 47, 42, 39, 37 and 36 yards. A baseball catcher, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds.
