An 18-year-old freshman at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Elizabeth won the AIAW National Small College singles and doubles tennis championships to lead her team to the national title over California State at Bakersfield.

With a 621-141 record in 20 seasons at Cerritos College, Kincaid, 51, is the winningest junior-college baseball coach in California history. His teams have won 49 tournaments, 14 conference championships and five state titles.

Jon, a 16-year-old senior at Mercer Island High, is the third youngest person to scale Mount McKinley in a traverse climb. With the Genet Expedition, he climbed the 20,320-foot peak's west slope in 12 days and came down the east in five.

MASON CITY, IOWA
Sixteen-year-old Brian, a seven-handicap golfer who has been playing only three years, scored four eagles in one 18-hole round. The first came on the Mason City Country Club's par-5 6th hole, the other three on par-4s on the back nine.

Baross, 22, who competes for the Santa Clara Aquamaids, is the second swimmer to achieve indoor and outdoor grand slams, winning the solo, duet, team and figures events, in AAU synchronized swimming national championships.

BAY CITY, TEXAS
Ten-year-old Hart became the first dual winner in major league sponsored youth competitions when he took his division of the national Pitch, Hit and Run championship with 247 points. Last winter he won an NFL Punt, Pass and Kick title.
