CHERRY HILL, N.J.
Dan, 17, a diver for Cherry Hill West High, is unbeaten in invitational competition and has won 24 consecutive dual meets. This season Dan averaged 204 points a meet, and once scored 233.40, a record for South Jersey.

NIKKI GIANULIAS
VALLEJO, CALIF.
Rolling six consecutive strikes, Nikki, 18, a freshman at Solano Community College, won the International Intercollegiate Women's Bowling Championships and a spot on the U.S. World Cup team. Nikki has a 205 average this season.

DALLAS
Michael, 17, put the shot 71'1½" at the Texas Relays in Austin for the best in-state high school distance this season. The 6'2", 243-pound Jefferson High junior threw the discus 191'11" in a district meet, 5'5" off the Texas prep record.

BLAINE WILLENBORG
MIAMI SHORES, FLA.
Winning his third consecutive state tennis singles championship, Blaine, 18, led Archbishop Curley to its second straight state title. Blaine has lost only one match during his four-year high school career—in the state finals his freshman year.

JULIE WOODCOCK
SWARTHMORE, PA.
A junior at the University of Maine (Orono), Julie, 19, holds five New England swimming records: three in the individual medley, 100 yards (1:01.43), 200 (2:11.14), 400 (4:39.14); and in the 200- (1:56.09) and 500-yard (5:09.06) freestyle.

MARK TATE
MUSCATINE, IOWA
A two-time all-state outfielder, Mark, 18, holds the Mississippi Valley Conference career record for stolen bases (68). A senior, Mark led Muscatine High to the MVC championship in 1977, and has a .368 career batting average.
