BEREA, KY.
Kevin, 17, a 170-pound halfback for Berea Community School, rushed for 355 yards and TDs of 72, 64, 47 and 10 yards in a 30-20 win over Williamsburg High. In seven games he has gained 1,232 yards and scored 124 points.

DENISE MARINI
WILMINGTON, DEL.
Denise, 18, a four-time state high school 800-meter champion and three-time 1,500 titlist, won the National Junior Olympic 3,000 meters in Santa Clara, Calif. in 9:39.7. She holds Delaware high school records at 800, 1,500 and 3,000 meters.

TOM IMHOFF
NEW ALBIN, IOWA
Tom, 19, had a 20-0 pitching record and hit .472 in leading Kee High in Lansing to a 51-4 record and the state Class A baseball title. He struck out 172 batters in 125 innings, had a 43-game hitting streak and hit four home runs in one game.

FRANK RICHARDSON
AMES, IOWA
Richardson, 25, a third-year veterinary student at Iowa State, won America's Marathon in Chicago, beating 7,000 other runners in a time of 2:14:04. In 1977 he was the NCAA Division III 10,000-meter champion while at M.I.T.

DORIS POPPLE
LAKE OSWEGO, ORE.
Popple, 57, has coached Lake Oswego High tennis teams to 262 wins and 20 tournament titles in 29 years. She was named the 1980 national high school tennis Coach of the Year and as a player is ranked fourth among the country's seniors.

GREG TANT
DALLAS
Greg, 14, won the National Yo-Yolympics finals in Universal City, Calif. over eight other regional champions. He scored 252 of a possible 280 points based upon five compulsory tricks and a two-minute freestyle routine.
