David, 18, brother of Olympians Joe ('76, '80) and Mike ('80), set a national high school 100-yard backstroke record (50.11) while at San Ramon High. His times in the 50 freestyle (20.6) and 100 butterfly (49.38) are 1981 scholastic bests.

VINCENT JACKSON
BESSEMER, ALA.
Vincent, who recently completed his junior year at McAdory High, won four events at the state AAA track meet, including the triple jump with a state-record 48'7¼". He also won the state decathlon title and hit .432 for the baseball team.

LISEL JUDGE
WABAN, MASS.
Judge, 65, women's fencing coach at Brandeis since 1955, recently retired after 25 consecutive winning seasons. Her teams were 169-9 in dual matches and won 16 New England titles. Only once did the Judges lose more than two matches a year.

GLEN COVE, N.Y.
Randy, an 8-year-old pitcher in the Sea Cliff Junior Baseball Instructional League, dived to catch a short pop-up, tagged third base to double up a runner and then ran to first to put out another and complete an unassisted triple play.

AHLRNATHY, TEXAS
Ramona, 18, closed out her tennis career at Abernathy High by winning her third straight Class 3A girls' state title. She led the Antelopes to the 1981 girls' state basketball crown and finished third in the girls' state cross-country meet in 1980.

RODNEY LEONARD
OSLO
Leonard, 30, a 6'3" native Philadelphian and a medical assistant with NATO, has led Oslo's Ullern basketball club to an 82-6 record and two Norwegian amateur titles over the past three years as a player-coach. He was playoff MVP in 1979.
