Rhett, a 9-year-old pitcher on the Hollis "A" Pee Wee team in the Short Grass League, pitched a perfect game, and struck out 11 batters, in a 10-0 victory over Blair at a tournament in Mangum, Okla. His season record was 11-2.

Annie, who will be a senior at Moose Lake High in the fall, was 16-0 with a 0.00 ERA for the Lakers softball team, which went 19-0 to win the state Class A title. She also led her unbeaten state champion volleyball team in spikes.

Andrew, who will be a ninth-grader at Bowie High this fall, was named a Life Master—the highest rank the American Contract Bridge League confers—at the age of 13 years, four months and 15 days, the youngest ever.

Judy, a recent graduate of Lee High, won the girls' state Class M discus title (120'7"), and was second in the shot (40'10¾") and javelin (132'2¾"). She also averaged 13.5 points, 17.9 rebounds and 4.1 blocks in a three-year basketball career.

Steve, a 32-year-old advertising executive, clinched the Sports Car Club of America's Southeast Formula Atlantic title with two wins at the Roebling Road Double National in Savannah. The runner-up in the SCCA Nationals last year, he has driven his March 79 B to victory in five of the six SCCA events he has entered this season. His brother, Tom, a 37-year-old realtor, finished first in the one race Steve didn't win and was second in four of the other five, also in a March 79 B.
