Mike, a 5'9", 170-pound kicker, averaged 43 yards per punt, routinely put his kickoffs in the end zone and had a 57-yard field goal for Pompano Beach (Fla.) High. He's the first kicker ever named a high school All-America by Parade magazine.

NOTRE DAME
Mark, a 6'3", 215-pound fullback for new Irish Coach Gerry Faust at Moeller High in Cincinnati, averaged more than 5.6 yards a carry in a 2½-year career. He scored 33 TDs his last two seasons as the Fighting Crusaders won state titles.

Sean, a 6'5", 205-pound quarterback, threw for 2,913 yards and 24 TDs in his last two years at Orange Glen High in Escondido, Calif. He also punted and kicked PATs, was All-League in basketball, and had a .315 batting average as an outfielder.

Bobby, a 5'11", 195-pound running back, was the top high school scorer in Oklahoma in 1980 with 40 TDs, including nine on receptions. He averaged 8.5 yards per carry and had 294 tackles as a linebacker in a three-year career at Vian High.

Bill, a 6'5", 265-pound offensive lineman, can bench-press more than 500 pounds and runs a 4.9 40. He won four wrestling letters at Penn Hills High and the 1980 Dial Award as national male high school athlete of the year.

Terry, a 6'7", 260-pound defensive lineman from DeMatha Catholic High in Hyattsville, Md., had 103 tackles and 18 sacks during his senior season. A member of two scholastic All-America teams, he also played basketball at DeMatha.
