LISA CASTELLUCCI
SMITHFIELD, R.I.
Castellucci, a freshman at Rollins College, beat 181 other competitors to win the Maclay championship at the National Horse Show in New York City. The last two years she was runner-up for the title, the most prestigious in junior riding.

McMINNVILLE, TENN.
Jeff, a senior tailback at Warren County Senior High, set three national high school records for rushing attempts: 56 in a game, 441 in a season and 1,183 in a career. His 18 straight 100-yard games are second on the alltime high school list.

MELISSA MAGEE
YARDLEY, PA.
Magee, 27, coached the Trenton (N.J.) State field hockey team to a 15-0-2 record and the NCAA Division III title with a 2-0 win over Franklin and Marshall. Last spring she guided the Lions to the AIAW Division III lacrosse title.

ERIC WEST
SNYDER, TEXAS
Eric, a second-grader, scored 23 of the Rockets' 26 goals in pacing them to an 8-0 record and the championship of the Snyder Soccer Association's 6- and 7-year-old division. He had six goals in a 6-0 win over the Sneaky Snakes.

BETH HERR
CENTERVILLE, OHIO
Beth, a senior at Centerville High, won her second straight Ohio AAA girls' singles tennis championship. She has a two-year interscholastic mark of 56-0 and recently completed a fall season of 29 matches without losing a set.

STEVEN COLLINS
SANBORN, N.Y.
Collins, 19, won the open rapid-fire pistol competition at the III Confederation of the Americas championships in Rio de Janeiro with a score of 591 out of a possible 600. He holds the U.S. record for indoor rapid-fire shooting (593 of 600).
