Sister Marion, 52, an education coordinator and Dominican sister, ran the Oakland Marathon in 2:55:17, the fastest time ever for a woman 50-and-over. She also owns the national age-group (50-and-over) record of 38:07 for 10 km.
BILLY THOMPSON
SOMERDALE, N.J.
Billy, a 6'8" senior forward at Camden High, has averaged 29.9 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks a game for the Panthers' 10-3 basketball team. Last year he was the only non-senior to make the Parade Ail-American team.
JANE THOMPSON
COLUMBIA, MD.
Jane, a senior at Wilde Lake High, paced the Wildecats' soccer team to a 12-0-1 season in 1981 and a 47-0-1 record over the last four years. She scored 33 goals and had 45 assists in that span and was named all-county each season.
KIMBERLY SCAMMAN
ROCK PORT, MO.
Kim, a 5'7½" senior, is averaging 26.4 points and 16.9 rebounds a game for Rock Port High's basketball team. Last year she topped the state's Class AA girls in scoring and rebounding. She is also a three-time district medalist in golf.

Kevin and Peter, both seniors on the Bullard High football team, paced the Knights to a 10-2 record and the North Yosemite League title. Kevin, a 6-foot, 180-pound quarterback, completed 181 of 311 passes for 3,031 yards and 40 touchdowns, two short of Pat Haden's national high school mark. He was named Northern California Offensive Player of the Year. Peter, a 6'1½", 175-pound wide receiver, caught 69 passes for 1,191 yards and 26 touchdowns.
