Joseph, a 6'10½" center, and Atkinson, a 6'5" forward, both sophomores on the Miami-Dade Community College (North) basketball team, led the Falcons to a 30-0 record and the No. 1 junior-college ranking in the nation entering this week's NJCAA tournament. Joseph, an engineering major, scored 14.0 points and had 10.6 rebounds per game. Atkinson, who had a 19.0 scoring average, got 29, 22 and 28 points in the three tournament games that clinched the Florida J.C. title.

WILLINGBORO, N.J.
Hans, a junior wrestler at Willingboro High, lost only one match at 108 pounds in 29 meetings this year, with 21 pins—19 of them in less than a minute—one forfeit and three superior decisions. He also took third in the state interscholastics.

ANGELA CORCETTI
PHOENIX
Angela, a 9-year-old center forward for the Madison Angels girls' junior soccer team, led the Angels to a 22-0 record and the county championship, scoring 57 goals. During the 1981-82 season, her first in competition, she had 24 goals.

Krenz, 22, a wildlife ecologist, won the World Open Pente Championship in Dallas by two games to one over Bill Justice of Pensacola, Fla. Pente is a board game invented in 1974 that combines elements of chess and go.

OLA HASSIS
ORSA, SWEDEN
Hassis, 30, a forestry worker, finished first in the 10th American Birke-beiner cross-country ski race, covering the 34 miles between the towns of Hayward and Cable, Wis. in 2:42:09. In all, 4,092 skiers took part in the race.
