Nuttall, a physical education teacher, began the girls' lacrosse program at Loch Raven High in 1973 and has coached the Raiders to a 111-2-1 record. A 10-year, 104-game win streak, which included nine Baltimore county titles, ended in May.

DOUGLAS, GA.
Drew, a recent Coffee High graduate, led the 32-1 Trojans to their second state baseball title in three years with a 16-0 record and 197 strikeouts in 109‚Öì innings. In one span he pitched 73‚Öì innings without allowing an earned run.

Cindy, a 1982 Chandler High alumna, broke the National High School Track and Field Federation girls' discus record with a 176'4" throw in the AAA central division meet, breaking the mark of 172'11" set by Leslie Deniz in 1980.

BISCOE, N.C.
Pauline, a June graduate of East Montgomery High, hit grand slams in three successive trips to the plate to power the Eagles' softball team to a 14-7 win over Chatham Central. For the 15-game season, the leftfielder batted .429 with 50 RBIs.

Jiminez, 28, finished first in two of the 13 stages and second in two others to win overall individual honors in the 11-day, 1,000-mile Coors International Bicycle Classic, a European-style stage race run through the mountains of Colorado.

Doane, a sophomore at Golden Valley Lutheran College in Minneapolis, successfully defended her 3,000- and 5,000-meter women's titles at the national J.C. track championships. She also won the 1981 women's marathon and cross-country titles.
