SAN MANUEL, ARIZ.
Baize, 33, the assistant principal and athletic director at San Manuel High, has coached the Miners' girls' softball team to an eight-year record of 134-7. The Miners have won four straight state girls' Class AA or A titles.

VINCENT HOOVER
CORBIN, KY.
Vincent, a sixth-grader at Corbin Middle School, pitched three straight no-hitters and three one-hitters for the 14-0 Corbin Little League team. He was 14-0 on the season, averaged 14 strikeouts per game and batted .610 with 19 homers.

Donaldson, 23, roller-skated the mountainous 82 miles from Athens, Ga. to Atlanta in six hours, 54 minutes to beat 39 rivals and win the Skate Over Leukemia benefit race. He carried his 12-pound radio for the first 50 miles.

ALLENTOWN, PA.
Lee, a seventh-grader at Salisbury Middle School, defeated five opponents en route to winning the 75-pound AAU Grand National freestyle wrestling title. He holds two Eastern AAU crowns and has won 85 of his last 86 matches.

BRADENTON, FLA.
Meade, 33, a rightfielder for Jerry's Catering of Miami, was named the tournament MVP as Jerry's won the Super Division National Softball Championship. He led the tournament in home runs (12 in eight games) and batted .703.

PHILLIPA RASCHKER
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.
Raschker, 35, won eight events at TAC's National Masters meet and seven at the Masters Sports Festival. Her performances in the 400-meter hurdles (1:08.75), pole vault (8 feet) and triple jump (34'9½") may be tops for U.S. women 35 to 39.
