Sophie, 17, a senior at Choate Rosemary Hall school, took every game of her five matches to win the national junior girls' squash title in Philadelphia. She defeated the top seed, Ingrid Boyum, 15-12, 15-10, 15-3 in the final.
Reggie, a 6'7" senior forward, scored 37 points and had 18 rebounds as Dunbar High beat Cardinal Gibbons 82-53 to finish its season at 31-0. He averaged 24.6 points and 13 rebounds a game for the Poets, the nation's top high school team.
Mike, a 16-year-old center for the St. Joseph's High hockey team, has amassed 268 points on 137 goals and 131 assists in leading the Indians to their two-year record of 72-12-1. He's also the football quarterback and baseball catcher.
McGuire, 22, a 6'1½" center on Oklahoma's women's basketball team, racked up 2,147 career points, surpassing Alvan Adams, to become the Sooners' top scorer. Her career records include rebounds (1,071) and field-goal shooting (62%).

McCurdy, 43, has compiled a 109-2-2 record in six years as coach of the University of New Hampshire's women's ice hockey team. Two weeks ago, the Wildcats won their fourth consecutive Eastern AIAW championship in Boston.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OHIO
Trevor, a freshman at Penn, became the first fencer ever to win both the foil and épée events at the USFA Junior Olympics. Two weeks later he went 8-0 to win the individual épée at the Intercollegiate Fencing Association championships.
