Davis, 45, has coached the Toll Gate High girls' volleyball team to five consecutive state championships while amassing a 104-1 record. She also coached the 1983 Lady Titans basketball team to a 16-0 mark and the girls' state title.

Jeff, 12, pitched two no-hitters in Payette County's three wins in the District II Little League All-Star tournament. He whiffed 33 batters and Walked only three in 14 innings while getting 10 hits himself, including a home run.

Lipovsky, 28, a former pitcher in the Boston Red Sox system, defended his men's world horseshoe pitching title by winning 20 of 23 matches at the world championships in Statesville, N.C. He had 1,059 ringers out of 1,360 throws.

HARRISBURG, PA.
Thomas, 53, an 11-handicap golfer, fired holes in one on successive days at Harrisburg's Colonial C.C. He used a four-wood on the 201-yard 12th hole and a six-iron on the 169-yard 5th. Both times the ball took one hop and fell into the cup.

Jonathan and James, 29-year-old identical twin swim instructors, swam the 28 miles around Manhattan in nine hours and 43 minutes to become the first to circumnavigate the island doing the butterfly. Previously they had completed a 16.5-mile butterfly swim from Fort Lauderdale to Pompano Beach, Fla. and back (14:5). They train three hours a day but still they found time last year to enter and be among the finalists displayed in Cosmopolitan's first male centerfold contest.
