Studer, 22, a dairy farmer, became the fourth person ever to roll sanctioned ambidextrous 300s. He bowled a left-handed 300 at Magic Bowl in Twin Falls four years after having bowled a righty perfecto at Starlight Lanes in Blackfoot.

MOBILE, ALA.
Dickinson, 47, guided the McGill-Toolen High team to its sixth 4A state girls' volleyball title in her 13 years at the school. She has also coached four other state championship teams: two in girls' basketball, and two in boys' tennis.

TOM MOUNTIN
ELMWOOD, WIS.
Tom, a senior at Elm-wood High, set national high school career records for passes attempted (1,008) and completed (535). The attempts mark had been held by Joe Ferguson, now of the Buffalo Bills. Tom threw for 6,377 yards in four years.

CATHY WOOD
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.
Cathy, an all-county senior forward on the Schreiber High girls' soccer team, scored 56 goals this season in leading the Vikings to an 18-1 record. She had 114 career goals and a single-game high of six. She is also all-county in lacrosse.

AL HAGER
MANSFIELD, OHIO
Hager, 59, a retiree, won his 11th Westbrook Country Club men's golf crown. Starting in 1946, he has won it at least once in each of the last five decades. He's also a three-time North Central Ohio Golf Association seniors champ.

BILL HUNTER
OLLA, LA.
Bill, a senior at LaSalle High, ran back three kicks for TDs in the third quarter of the Tigers' 32-12 homecoming win over Southfield High. He took the second-half kickoff 90 yards and added punt returns of 60 and 55 yards.
