Schockow, a senior goalkeeper for the Cortland (N.Y.) State women's soccer team, was named to the AIAW Division I All-America team for the fourth straight year. The Red Dragons had 40 shutouts in 74 games with Schockow in the net.
Garber, 27, coached the Radford High girls' basketball team to a 27-1 record and the 1983 Class AA state championship. She also played leftfield and hit .682 on the state champion Radford Community Hospital women's softball team.
Paul, a senior at Gulliver Prep, set two state high school records at the Class AAA swimming championships: the 50-yard free in 20.57 and the 100 breast in 56.52. Both times are expected to be national high school bests for 1983-84.
Kelly, 10, holds the state titles in track, cross-country and swimming: the TAC Junior Olympic 10-and-under crowns in the 1,500 meters (5:27) and the 3 km road race (12:22), and the 10-and-under 25-yard backstroke at the state meet (16:09).

Mel, a 6'1", 202-pound senior running back for Brother Rice High, ran for 1,217 yards and 15 touchdowns for the 12-0 Class A state champs. The son of the former UCLA All-America and Detroit Lion scored the title-game-winning TD.
Cindy, a 5'11" junior forward on the Allison-Bristow High girls' basketball team, scored the last 18 points in the Trojanettes' 50-41 victory over Clarksville and all of their points in a 67-54 win over Grundy Center High.
