Mihalko, 44, field-hockey coach at Cooperstown High for 22 years, broke the national high school record for most career wins in her sport by coaching the Lady Redskins to a 2-0 victory over Mount Markham High for triumph 192.

Marcus, a ninth-grader at Warner Robins Junior High, became the first junior bowler in the state to roll a 300 game. His average was 159, but during a Young American Bowling Alliance tournament in Warner Robins, Marcus couldn't miss.

Ki Tok, a junior at Glencliff High, kicked a state-record 58-yard field goal in a 17-6 win over Hillsboro, surpassing the old mark of 55 yards set in 1925 on a dropkick. Ki Tok has also made 89 of 99 extra-point attempts over three seasons.

HARTFORD, CONN.
Anthony, 18, a halfback, led the Glastonbury High football team to an 11-0 record and the state LL championship with 32 touchdowns, 192 points and 1,789 yards rushing—all tops in the state. His touchdown total set a stale high school record.

FORT WORTH
Ellen, 16, won the junior national women's roller-skating singles and figures titles and, with Larry McGrew of Fort Worth, finished fourth in the world-class pairs competition. She was named roller skating's Sports-woman of the Year.
STACY CASSIDAY
EVANSTON, ILL.
Stacy, a senior swimmer at Evanston Township High, won her fourth straight state championship in the girls' 200-yard freestyle and her second straight in the 100 butterfly. She holds both state records: 1:49.67 in the free, 56.19 in the fly.
