LEADING OFF: While Boris Becker was beating Kevin Curren in four sets at Wimbledon, 35 miles up the Thames Harvard was trouncing Princeton by nearly four lengths to win the Grand Challenge Cup at Henley. Unfortunately, the absence of an English boat made the race a very big bore, even snore, for the spectators in the posh Stewards' Enclosure.
