Troy, 14, became the first eighth-grader to win a New York high school wrestling title when he took the 91-pound division crown at the state tournament in Syracuse. He was 31-0 this year for Pine Bush High, with 27 pins.

Tacason, a freshman at Chapman College, batted .400 and pitched two no-hitters, one of which was a 1-0 perfect game in the championship against Cal State-Northridge in the eight-team Early Bird women's Softball tournament, in Chico, Calif.

Schulte, a sophomore goalie, led Florissant Valley Community College to its second straight national junior college soccer title by shutting out all three opponents in the championship tournament, including Mercer in the title game.

ERLANGER, KY.
Farr, a sophomore at Vincennes University, rolled a 12-game 2,361 series to lead her team to the women's National Junior College Athletic Association bowling title. She became the first woman to twice win the NJCAA No. 1 All-America position.

TROY, TENN.
Cannon, a senior guard at Obion County Central High, set a new Tennessee high school basketball record with a career total of 3,478 points. With his single-season record of 1,536 points in 1985-86, he led the 34-5 Rebels to the state 2A title.

LAKEVILLE, CONN.
Aller, a 69-year-old lawyer, placed first in the downhill, slalom, giant slalom and combined to sweep the 65-to-69 age group events for the second straight year at the National Alpine Masters skiing championships, in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
