Butterfield, 41, won the American Platform Tennis Association women's open doubles and senior (40 and older) doubles championships, teaming with Diane Tucker of Bedford, N.Y. and Gerry Hodes of Katonah, N.Y., respectively.

David, a senior at Worland High, won his third consecutive state AAA high school wrestling championship (119 pounds in '84, 132 in '85, 138 in '86). He pinned all 29 of his opponents this season to end his four-year career with a 90-4 record, including 72 pins. Cary, a senior at Eldorado High, won his fourth-straight state AAA wrestling title (98 pounds in '83, 105 in '84, 112 in '85 and 126 in '86), finishing his season at 37-0 and his high school career at 147-9, including 90 pins.

IRVINGTON, N.J.
Tammy, a 6-foot senior forward, averaged 28.9 points and 15.5 rebounds to lead Irvington High to a 27-4 mark and its second straight Group IV basketball title. Tammy, who will attend USC in the fall, was MVP in the state all-star game.
