As the football season approaches and the exhibition games get
under way, I wonder if William Andrews (Stopped In Mid-stride, May
19) has returned to the Falcons, or if he will return at all?

-- Indeed he has returned to the Falcons and apparently has
recovered from the severe injury to his left knee that he suffered in
a training-camp drill two years ago. Last week he played in the
Falcons' preseason opener against the Giants, carrying four times for
a total of 15 yards. -- ED.
