Hillary, 8, outrode 156 rivals to win the overall championship at the 19th annual hunter pony competition in Culpepper, Va. The event, restricted to riders 18 and under, was the only competition of its kind in the U.S.

Mike, 12, finished first in the AAU/USA Junior Olympic Grand National wrestling championships, in Indianapolis, in three events: freestyle, Greco-Roman and sambo. In three years, Mike has won 32 consecutive national competitions.

Lloyd, 15, a sophomore at Ada High School, pitched the Ada Elks to the 1986 OK Kids Association baseball championship in Muskogee. In 101 innings Lloyd, a righthander, had 194 strikeouts, an 0.48 ERA and a 17-0 record.

BENNINGTON, VT.
Hollister, 28, an appliance salesman, won his fourth straight New England Horseshoe Pitching Championship, with an 81.6 ringer percentage, in Keene, N.H. His percentage was the highest of any New Englander in 56 years of record keeping.

SISTERSVILLE, W. VA.
Jeff, a senior tailback for Sistersville High, ran for nine touchdowns and 448 yards—both state records—during a 76-8 rout of Frontier (Ohio) High. The old mark of 424 yards and eight TDs was set by Curt Warner, now of the Seahawks, in 1978.

Lum, 55, an academic counselor at City College of San Francisco, defeated Nancy Neeld of Albuquerque 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 in the final match to win the U.S. Tennis Association women's age-55 Indoor Championship, at the Seattle Tennis Club.
