Mike, a 112-pound senior wrestler at Aquinas High, beat Dan Brock of Columbus High in Marshfield to lead the Blugolds to the state private school title, becoming the first Wisconsin schoolboy wrestler ever to win four titles.

WATERVILLE, MAINE
Tammy, a senior at Waterville High, piled up 66.682 points to win the state individual all-around girls' gymnastics title, in Auburn. She won the uneven bars and floor exercise and placed second in the vault and balance beam.

WELLESLEY, MASS.
Bernheimer, a 45-year-old printing executive who is the national 45-and-older squash champion, won state titles in four different divisions on the same day. He won the open category, the 35's, the 40's and the 45's.

BALTIMORE
Stielper, an Essex Community College sophomore forward/guard, set a national junior college single-season scoring mark of 899 points. The junior college first-team All-America averaged 33.3 points per game this season.

KIRK ROBINSON
JACKSONVILLE
Kirk, a Bolles School junior, broke two state 198-pound records and tied another at the Class AA high school weightlifting meet, in Hawthorne. He set records in the bench press and total weight, and tied another in the clean and jerk.

CHUCK SPROLING
DENVER
Chuck, a junior at Manual High, scored a state-record 74 points—14 free throws and 30 field goals—in a 138-56 victory over North High. Sproling broke the record of 64 points set by Primero High's Rick Arguello in 1971.
