Losa, a freshman DH, led San Jacinto College-North to its third straight NJCAA title, in Grand Junction, Colo., batting .688 (11 for 16) in six games to tie the record set by Kirby Puckett, now with the Twins, in 1982.

JUDE RINALDI
DUNEDIN, FLA.
Rinaldi, a senior first baseman for Troy (Ala.) State, led the Trojans to a 38-10-1 record and the NCAA Division II title, in Montgomery, Ala. Rinaldi, who batted .431 with 16 home runs, was named the tournament's outstanding player.

LEWISTON, IDAHO
Mackey, a junior left-fielder for Lewis-Clark State, led the 55-10 Warriors to their third NAIA championship in four years by setting tournament records for batting average (.741), hits (20), consecutive hits (12) and singles (15).

PHILLIPSBURG, N.J.
Deutsch, a sophomore outfielder for Montclair (N.J.) State, led the NCAA Division III in home runs (22), including two in a 13-12, 10-inning win over Wisconsin-Oshkosh for the division title in Marietta, Ohio.

Keller, a sophomore pitcher-second baseman for Sacramento City College, and Pedre, a sophomore catcher for L.A. Harbor College, were named juco players of the year in Northern and Southern California, respectively. Keller, who will attend Florida State, was 18-0 with a 1.08 ERA and batted .354, as 50-8 Sacramento reached the state finals. Pedre, now with Kansas City's Class A club in Eugene, Ore., led 36-10 Harbor in batting (.475), homers (21) and RBIs (79).
