Johnson, 39, made a hole in one with a three-iron on the 203-yard, par-3 3rd hole at the St. Louis Country Club in a morning round, then used the same club that afternoon to become the eighth golfer to ace the same hole twice in a day.

Paul, a senior at Archbishop Kennedy High, won his third straight Class AA 1,600-meter title at the state championships in Shippensburg, in a meet-record 4:03.22, and earned his second straight 800-meter title in a meet-record 1:51.96.

Rubin, a junior attacker, and Cabrera, a senior midfielder, combined for a total of 91 points to lead the 11-3 Duke University lacrosse team to its best record since 1954. Rubin led the Atlantic Coast Conference in goals scored (39) for the third consecutive year and also had eight assists for 47 points. Cabrera had 22 goals and 22 assists for the Blue Devils to finish third in the conference in scoring, with 44 points. Both were named to the All-ACC team.
