Stever, a senior forward on the Nazareth College women's soccer team, scored five goals in an 8-0 win over Utica College to break by two the women's collegiate career scoring mark of 93, set by North Carolina's Janey Rayfield in 1982.

Moats, 33, a real estate developer, finished first among amateurs and eighth overall in the USTS triathlon championships on Hilton Head Island, S.C. He completed the 1.5-km swim, 40-km bike ride and 10-km run in 1:56:06.

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y.
Anne Marie, a junior at Grand Island High, swam a 24.22 to win the girls' 50-yard freestyle at the New York State Public School championships. She also won six swimming gold medals at last summer's Empire State Games.

CARMEL, IND.
Koeppen, 41, coached the boys' and the girls' cross-country teams at Carmel High to state titles, a feat his teams also achieved in 1982. The boys beat Plymouth High 86-98, while the girls defeated Floyd Central 19-127.

SALISBURY, N.C.
Susan, a senior at Salisbury High, won her third straight state division 1A/2A girls' singles tennis championship by beating Jane Frye of Union Pines High 6-1, 6-4. Susan, a two-time All-America, ended her high school career 104-5.

MISSION, TEXAS
Lupe, a senior quarterback at Mission High, threw for 422 yards in a 54-7 win over Harlingen High in the state Class 5A playoffs. His 3,598 yards in 11 games this year set a state high school record for single-season passing yardage.
