Lensegrav, a senior at Montana State, won the men's all-around title at the College National Finals Rodeo and led the Bobcats to the national crown. He finished first in bareback riding and third in the saddle bronc event.

Jodie, a recent graduate of North Hunterdon High, swept the girls' 800-, 1600- and 3200-meter races at the state high school track and field meet. She won 25 state titles during her four-year track and cross-country career.

Hudspeth, 77, a retired auto mechanic, drove his 14½-foot inboard Y-37 hydroplane to victory in the one-liter modified engine class at the MarineFest Regatta. In his 40 years of powerboating, Hudspeth has won more than 100 races.

Alex, a recent graduate of Pace High, whiffed 12 in a 3-1 win over Florida High to lead the Spartans to the Class AA baseball title. He ended his varsity career with a 47-4 record and 601 strikeouts, the state's second-highest total ever.

Jeri, a recent graduate of Springbrook High, won her fourth straight state girls' high school tennis title with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Susan Klingenberg of North Carroll High. She ended her high school career with a record of 80-0.

NEWNAN, GA.
Christie, an eighth-grader-to-be at O.P. Evans Middle School, finished second in the 97-pound class at the National Women's Weightlifting Championships by lifting 126¾ in the clean and jerk, and snatching 104½ pounds.
