Susan, 12, set an AAU Junior Olympic record for the midget girls' division (ages 11-12) of the pentathlon with 2,775 points at the National Junior Olympics meet in Wichita. Kans. She also won the 400 meters with a time of 62.83.

JASPER, IND.
Brewer, 51, became Indiana's winningest high school football coach ever when Jasper High defeated Vincennes High 21-0 to give him his 242nd career victory. In his 30 years of guiding the Wildcats, Brewer has a record of 242-68-2.

CIRCLEVILLE, W.VA.
Christy, a 5'9" senior forward at Circleville High, scored 85 points in a 107-68 win over Pocahontas County High to set a state single game scoring record. The old mark of 76 was set last year by Rachel Saunders of Pineville High.

LA MIRADA, CALIF.
Ferrans, 21, set a world record for distance by throwing a Frisbee 623' 7" at the U.S. Open Flying Disc Championships in La Habra, Calif. He broke the old mark, set in 1987 by Michael Canci of Australia, by 10'7½".

MISSY RANSEHOUSEN
UNIONVILLE, PA.
Ransehousen, 19, riding Der Kaper, won the Individual Three-Day event at the American Continental Young Riders Championships. She totaled 52.2 penalty points in the dressage, cross-country and show jumping.
