Wilson, 78, shot an even-par 70 to beat Raymond Lebel of Falmouth by five strokes to win the Maine Seniors Championship at the Portland Country Club. Sixty-two years ago he won his first of two state amateur championships.

Calvin, a freshman cross-country runner at Livingston Manor Central, won the 15-and-under division in three Covered Bridge Runs. He ran the 5 km in 17:43.5, the 10 km in 43:42.6 and the 15 km in 1:23:46.5, all on one day.

Washington, a sophomore at Michigan, defeated Mike Brown of Arkansas 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (7-4) to win the collegiate tennis championship in Athens, Ga., in October. He won every set in his five matches during the tournament.

Rosenbaum, a University of Delaware senior forward, set a school single-season record (19) with two goals in a 4-0 field hockey defeat of Rider. The win gave her team a fourth straight East Coast Conference regular-season title.

John, a senior center forward at Hinckley-Big Rock High, scored seven goals to set a school record in a 16-0 soccer victory over Newark High. He surpassed the Illinois high school career scoring record by 14 goals, with 142.
