Andrea, a senior striker at Cherry Hill East High, set a South Jersey regional girls' soccer career scoring record of 155 goals. She had 65 goals this year and became a member of the U.S. 19-and-under Eastern regional team.

Landry, a Michigan State junior who had never bowled a 300 game or an 800 series, tied a 49-year-old world record with an 886 series in Lansing's Capital City Classic League at Pro Bowl West lanes. He had 33 strikes in 36 balls for scores of 298, 300 and 288. Mike, 12, rolled a perfect game in the parent-child league at Clarksville's Blackiston Bowl, thus becoming the second-youngest U.S. bowler ever to accomplish that feat in a sanctioned event. His father and teammate, Jerry, had a 217.

JACKSON, MISS.
James, a senior guard for Murrah High, scored 108 points in three games and was named the MVP of the Zizzer Classic basketball tourney. In the Mustangs' 84-64 final-game win over St. Thomas More of Lafayette, La., he had 36 points.

MOLLY McCLIMON
MADISON, WIS.
Molly, a senior at Edgewood High, ran the 3,200-meter course in 11:34 to win her fourth Wisconsin Independent Schools Athletic Association Class A girls' cross-country title. She is the first runner to win the crown four times.

Doll, 55, a salesman, set U.S. records in the age 55-59 superheavyweight division in bench press (259 pounds), squat (352.7), deadlift (457.5) and total (1,069.2) at the American Drug Free Powerlifting masters championship.
