Whitney. 10, won the 111-, 222-, 333-and 444-meter races and the all-around title in the girls' Pony Division at the Evanston (Ill.) North Shore Open speedskating meet. It was her 10th consecutive age-group championship.

FORD CITY, PA.
Jon. a senior center at Ford City High, broke the national high school single-season hockey scoring record of 102 goals when he got six in an 8-3 win over Elizabeth-Forward. He finished the season with 114 goals for the 15-5-2 Bulls.

BROOKHAVEN, MISS.
Chris, a senior guard at Brookhaven Academy, scored 54 points, including a three-pointer with 51 seconds left in triple OT to clinch an 84-77 win over Madison-Ridgeland Academy in the final of the state private school tournament.

ORLAND PARK, ILL.

Lance, a senior at Indianapolis Cathedral High, and Joey, a senior at Andrew High, each won his fourth state wrestling championship. Lance, who finished his career with a 177-0 record, became the first four-time Indiana titlist since 1952 when he beat Scott Wilson of Rushville High for the 119-pound crown. Joey, who had a 163-1 career record and is the first Class AA wrestler in Illinois to win four titles, won the 135-pound championship by defeating Stan Valle of Notre Dame High.

TWANNA SHIELDS
HYATTSVILLE, MD.
Twanna, a Northwestern High senior, won the 55-meter hurdles (8.34) and the 55-meter dash (7.16) at the state track meet in Baltimore, to retain the titles she won in 1988. She also ran the state's fastest 55-meter dash (7.00) this year.
