Marc, 10, scored five goals to lead the Deer-field Falcons to a 7-0 win over the Oak Park Eagles in the final game of the Mite AA state hockey championships. In his 38 regular-season games, he had 169 goals and 93 assists

Kahea, a 5'2" freshman guard for the Honokaa High girls' basketball team, had a girls' state-record 51 points in leading the Dragons to an 89-73 win over Kealakekua Konawaena High. She had a 31.3 scoring average this season.

Chris, a junior at Dunbar High, earned four gold medals at the Mansfield Mehock Relays. He won the 200 meters (21.3), the 400 (47.2) and the 110 high hurdles (14.01). and he anchored the Wolverines" winning 4 X 400 relay squad (3:15.8).

Ready, a freshman at Eastern New Mexico, won rodeo's all-around cowgirl and breakaway roping titles for the intercollegiate southwest region. In regional team competition the Greyhounds placed second to Tarleton State.
