Chad, 9, led the Bowers Plumbing Outlaws to a 14-0 record and the championship of the Pee Wee League in the Town of Pulaski Youth Soccer League. He scored 60 goals during the season and was named MVP of the league.
Skip, 18, lifted a record total of 1,565 pounds to place first in the 242½ pound division at the International Powerlifting Alliance Lifetime Drug Free Teenage Championship. He bench-pressed 380, squatted 580 and deadlifted 605.
Trina, a recent graduate of Aurora Central High, won her third straight Class AAA girls' 800-meter state title. She also won the International Prep Invitational 800 in Elmhurst, Ill., in 2:09.15, the second-fastest high school time of the year.

Joe, a 12-year-old pitcher for the West Newbury Youth League Cubs, struck out all 18 Red Sox batters on his way to the first of two perfect games this season. He also went 4 for 4 at the plate, with three homers, as the Cubs won 18-0.
Rachel and Kelley, identical twins who will be sophomores at Notre Dame this fall, won the gold and silver medals, respectively, in the junior division èpèe competition at the national fencing championships in Orlando, Fla. In 1986 the twins and their older sister, Bryn Marie, were members of the St. Mary's Academy team that won the national high school championship, and their brother, John, was on Notre Dame's NCAA national championship team.
