Bart, 8, won the 10-and-under boys' singles tennis championship at the Colorado State Junior Open with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Brett Jackson, 9, of Littleton. It was the sixth time in a year Bart had reached the finals of a tournament.
WAVA MOSBRUCKER
GREEN BAY
Mosbrucker, 53, a customer service supervisor, won the 10-km run in 43:12 in the 50-54 age group at the Badger State Games. A week later, she had a personal best of 41:28 in Green Bay's Bellin Run. She has not lost a 10-km race since 1985.

Murray, a junior, led Odessa (Texas) College to the men's team title at the College National Finals Rodeo, in Bozeman, Mont. He won the rodeo and national all-around titles after taking the saddle bronc and bull riding events.

SALEM, ORE.
Krista, 13, set three state riflery records at the State Games of Oregon, in Portland. She scored 577 points out of a possible 600 in the small-bore prone position event, establishing standards for the open, women's and junior divisions.

Denning, 43, coached two teams to state baseball titles. Cretin-Derham beat Hibbing 4-3 to win the state high school crown. Three days later Ran-View VFW Post 1620 beat Anoka 6-0 to win the Star of the North Babe Ruth title.

SOUTH POINT, OHIO
Sherman, 18, set a meet record for the women's discus with a throw of 179'4" at the U.S. Junior Track and Field Championships in Columbus, Ohio. The toss was also the best by a high school girl this season and second-best of all time.
