Watkins, 67, using a seven-iron, shot her seventh career hole in one. on the 114-yard, par-3 7th hole at Birmingham's Vestavia Country Club. Forty years ago she aced her first hole, at the Boswell/ Highland city course also in Birmingham.

Elizondo, 20, won the Junior National Modern Pentathlon Championship, beating defending champion Jim Haley of Lake City, Fla., by 48 points, in Roswell. N.Mex. He qualified for his third world junior team with his victory.

Johnson, 19, beat John Hughes of Stillwater. Pa., at the USA Junior National Freestyle Wrestling Championships 10-0 to win the title in the 132-pound division in Cedar Falls. Iowa. He is also a two-time National Prep School champion.

Emma, 9, a fourth-grader at the San Francisco Community School, became the youngest person ever to swim the Golden Gate shore to shore. She swam the 1‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√±‚àö¬µ-mile strait in 1:08:51 in 60° water.

BATH, N.Y.
Mike, 11, a righthanded pitcher, threw 25 consecutive innings of no-hit baseball as the Norstars went 16-0 and won the Bath Little League title. During the season he faced 120 batters, had 83 strikeouts and gave up just one earned run.
