Waldron, 74 and legally blind, had holes in one on the same hole on consecutive days. After husband Pete helped her line up her drives, she used a seven-iron for both aces on the 87-yard 7th at Amelia Island Plantation's Long Point Course.

Shawn, a senior forward, had three goals and three assists as he led Yarmouth High to a 7-3 victory over Cheverus High of Portland in the state Class B hockey Western Division championship game. His 62 goals this season set the boys' state record.

INGRAM, TEXAS
Troy, a senior guard, averaged 40.6 points per game this season for Tom Moore High and ended his career with 4,259, the highest total ever by a Texas high school basketball player. He broke the record set in 1986 by Calvin Gerke of Snook.

John and Russ, twin brothers and juniors at Benton High, each won a state Class AA wrestling title. John, who was 37-0 for the season, scored an 11-3 victory over Nick Snook of West Snyder High in Beaver Springs for the 140-pound crown and his third straight state championship. Russ, 38-0 this year, defeated Matt Masters of Northwestern Lehigh High in New Tripoli in the 135-pound final for his first state crown. John and Russ have three-year career records of 107-2-1 and 107-6, respectively.

ELKOVA ICENOGLE
AUBURN, CALIF.
Elkova, a sophomore at Auburn-Placer High, beat Britt Engel of Manatee High in Bradenton, Fla., 15-8, 15-3 to win the girls' singles title at the national high school racquet-ball championships, in St. Louis. She also won the doubles competition.
