KYLE JERMYN
BILOXI, Miss.
Kyle, 6, scored four goals in leading Kid Konnection to a 6-2 victory in the championship match of the 5-6 age group in the Ocean Springs Soccer Organization. He had 31 goals in 11 games during the season, and twice he scored five in a game.

GABRIELLE ROSE
MEMPHIS
Gabrielle, 12, established two U.S. 11-12 age group swimming records at the National Junior Olympics-East meet. She set the first of her marks in the 50-yard breaststroke with a clocking of 30.81, and her second in the 100 breast in 1:05.38.

BOBBY JANISSE
PORTLAND, ORE.
Bobby, a recent graduate of Jefferson High, pinned Devin Roe of Forest Grove High at :40 of the second period to win his third consecutive state high school wrestling championship. He finished his career with a 123-2 record.

DANIELLE PRIMEAUX
LUMBERTON, TEXAS
Danielle, a recent graduate of Lumberton High, lifted a total of 600 pounds to win the girls' 123-pound national high school powerlifting championship. Danielle had previously won the state title, by 120 pounds over Lisa Gonzales of Ralls High.

COOPER CITY, FLA.
Sinz, 64, a former mayor of Cooper City and a 17 handicapper, had a hole in one twice within eight days on the par-3 160-yard 14th hole at the Cooper Colony Country Club. He used his one-wood to get the second and third aces of his 30 years of golfing.

JOE BACARELLA
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ.
Bacarella, a junior outfielder at Northern Colorado, became the fifth player in Division I history to hit two grand slams in the same inning, in a 24-8 win over Western New Mexico. He finished the 45-game season with five homers and 35 RBIs.
